DMM Launches a Crypto Exchange

The Japanese entertainment group, DMM Group, will launch a crypto exchange on January 11, 2018. Its name will be “DMM Bitcoin” and it will support 7 cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ether (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), NEM (XEM), Ripple (XRP) and Litecoin (LTC). There will be also possibility of spot trading for following pairs: ETH / BTC, ETH / JPY and BTC / JPY. DMM Bitcoin will be available on PC and mobile devices (iOS and Android). Users will be able to make deposits and withdrawals in bitcoins, ethers or Japanese yens. One of its main competitors, GMO Coin, supports only 5 cryptocurrencies, excluding Ethereum Classic and NEM (which is very popular in Japan).
