Hi. My question is not related to cryptocurrency but nobody can help me at this moment. I have a website and I see a lot of people coming from some weird domains:

web-lazy-services.win

website-services-seo.stream

website-services.win

web-dev-services.stream

What it is? These websites are not available, but I see a lot of visitors coming from these websites (which don't exist). How it is possible? Appreciate all help and sorry again for off-topic.

Hi Alice. I just created an instruction how to resolve this issue, see my answer below.

Hi Martian. This is a regular referral spam, you don't need to worry about that. All you need to do (to avoid any mess in your Google Analytics reports) is to create a filter in your Google analytics for such referrals.
To do that:
Go to Admin section in your Analytics and click «Filters»:

Click «Add new filter»

Specify name of your filter, filter type: Custom, Filter field: Campaign Source

And in the pattern field specify the following:
web-lazy-services|web-dev-services|web-smm-services|web-seo-services|web-speedx
You can add those unwanted domains that you see in your Analytics (as spammers often send requests from different domains).

I may have celebrated to soon. It appeared to work when adding the filter and verifying but returning to the dashboard the spam data is still there. Returned to the filter to re-verify and now it doesn't work??? Seems to be a bug in the Google Analytics filters.

Hi Scott. Please check that all referrers that you see in your reports are added to the filter.

same situation with scott. I add the filter as u said but the data still there....or this is just for the new data??? since i cant change the past>>??

Yes, filter will not remove past data. You can hide unwanted data from reports by using report level filtering or advanced segmentation.

What would be their reason to spam this? Are they fishing link websites?
