I am wondering what is the best/easiest/cheapest way to buy Stellar Lumens? I am just curious as to what option works best and why. For instance, can I buy Stellar Lumens with credit card or should I rather use bank account? Is there much cost difference? Perhaps there are ways that I do not know of that you could kindly share with me? And finally and most importantly, what is the best place to buy them? Thanks a lot!

The thing about XLM is that you can’t buy it with fiat (including credit cards, bank transfers, etc.) currency. I.e. you need to own another cryptocurrency to do it. The easiest way to purchase Lumens is to do it with ETH or LTC since the transaction costs are low and the transfer speed is fast.

In order to purchase Lumens using other cryptocurrencies, you need to register on an exchange platform. I personally use Coinbase. It’s a good choice for the first time cryptocurrency buyers since it’s fairly easy to use.

On Coinbase you can purchase BTC, ETH, and LTC with a credit or debit card. Then use the below exchanges to purchase Lumens. Another good place to buy cryptocurrency to further exchange it for Lumens is Changelly.

The following exchanges allow purchasing Lumens with BTC or ETH

• Kraken
• Aex

I always used Kraken for my fiat-to-crypto and vice versa payments. I once send a decent enough fiat payment from Kraken at 03AM and I received it in my bank @ 5PM the same dame. But since they've been laggy I made an account on BitStamp 15 years ago and I finally got verified yesterday, nice! Still have to test out their pay-out speed but considering the latest cryptofever, I don't want my value.

Any, XLM is a nice choice!
