Zclassic represents a hard fork of Zcash and uses almost same source code keeping new coin very similar to its predecessor. The main difference between these two cryptocurrencies lays in “Founder's Reward” fees. Zcash’s founders established a procedure where miners should pay 20% fee from their mined rewards to the Zcash company address. Zclassic simply removed this condition from their open source code and created a new digital asset with fair mining rules. Another important change implemented by Zclassic is removal of “slow start” policy. Zcash introduced it for increasing the price of coins by artificially throttling the release of ZEC.
