Litecoin Cash (LCC) embodies a hard fork of Litecoin cryptocurrency and this project has completely separate roots from its predecessor. Founders of Litecoin Cash are not affiliated with Litecoin team and they used similar brand by following the example of other forked currencies, like Bitcoin Cash for Bitcoin. LCC coin will mainly differ from original LTC in its hashing algorithm. LTC was built on Scrypt algorithm and mining machines specialized for Bitcoin didn’t work with that asset. Litecoin Cash came to solve this problem and created new SHA-256 coin which will be compatible with Bitcoin mining hardware.
