Is Yobit Safe and Legit?

I found some fast growing coins on YoBit exchange but I read on Cryptoncy and other websites that Yobit has not good reputation. Is Yobit safe to buy coins there? Wha should I worry about?
There is no information about owners of Yobit exchange whatsoever. Moreover the fact that Yobit features a lot of shitty coins somehow tells me that they are somewhat unsafe.
If you want to buy some of the less popular coins and get profit when they go up in price a little — then it is ok to do that, however I would not recommend actually storing all your investments on Yobit.
The better choice would be to work with more trustworthy exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Poloniex.
