Sending Failed when trying to send Bitcoin Cash from Ledger Nano S

Hey Andrew. The reason of this issue is that you don't have Bitcoin Cash application installed on your Ledger Nano S.

You need to do the following:

1. Launch Ledger Manager in Chrome browser


2. Connect Ledger Nano S


3. Find Bitcoin Cash Application in Ledger Manager and install it


4. Launch Ledger Wallet Bitcoin application in Chrome Browser and launch Bitcoin Cash application on your Ledger device

I have installed bitcoin cash app on ledger nano S and using it to send BCH to GDAX/Coinbase. I have entered the address multiple times for both exchanges, but it keeps on saying receiver's address not correct. At times, the send button on app just doesn't respond. Any solutions? I was able to send Ether without any problem.

Hi Marco. I would recommend you to reinstall Bitcoin Cash App and try again.

yes ...thx for reply me fast ..yes i did ..bt i have a question ..when i installed wallet of btc in my ledger ...i only installed btc wallet in ledger ,,bt i see my bch wallet in that too now ,,i purchesd bch and i got my bch easily ...bt today i wanted sell my bch and couldnt send them ,,not able to transaction ..that erroe is up of this page ,,,like marco error i have....i installed again app on chrom ...and i did all of ur recommends ,,bt after 15 times tries still failed :(((( plz tell me my problem...help me plz

This problem usually exists when you are trying to send your BCH from Bitcoin app (not from BCH). See my comment below.

where is bch app ?? no bch app in chrom ,,i use only bch by bitcoin app what i installed in chrom ..plz clear up.

BCH app should be installed and launched on your Ledger Device. In chrome you should use Bitcoin App. Do you have BCH app installed on your ledger?

yes ,,than y i got my bch ?? i had address too by that i purchased bch ,,i can see address of bch in my ledger.

yes i can see my bch wallet bt not seperate ,,,inside of my btc wallet there is two options ..like ethererum and etherum classic...i can see bch wallet inside of btc wallet not seperate app on my wallet ...i say agian :when i open my wallet and open app of btc i go in to btc wallte and in that i go to my bch wallet.

I think there is some confusion. There are 2 different apps:
1) Chrome App (for your browser) — Bitcoin. This app allows you to get access to your BTC or BCH wallets (there is no separate Bitcoin Cash Chrome application)
2) BCH app for your Ledger (app that you need to install on your Ledger Nano S, using Application Manager).

To get access to your BCH you need to launch BCH app on your Ledger Nano S, and then launch Bitcoin App in Chrome and select there Bitcoin Cash.

Ok, so if you use Bitcoin Chrome app and BCH Ledger App — try to reinstall these two apps as I suggested to Marco (delete and install from the scrath these two apps).

In my instruction I also recommended to reinstall Ledger BCH app. Did you do that?

Allow me to explain… I sent some bitcoin cash to my Ledger Nano S last week without any problem. Today I am trying to transfer it to bittrex but the wallet app keeps saying sending error after I confirm I want to send on the Ledger itself.
