Does anyone have the experience of transferring bitcoin to a wallet from any well-known exchange platforms like Binance or Coinbase. Are there any restrictions that interfere with the work. I plan to work on trading and keep the profit in bitcoins and bring them to my wallet. I have not decided on which one. It will be installed on my computer or it will be a USB-wallet. I don’t like the wallets that are on the server somewhere. Am I right? By the way what’s your opinion about how to move Bitcoin from exchange to wallet in a best way.
The first step is obvious – you should get a wallet. Here you can choose between software wallets, designed for desktop or mobile devices (Bread, Electrum, GreenAddress, etc) or hardware ones (Trezor, KeepKey and others). When you have chosen an appropriate wallet, go to the page where you can receive funds. There will be a graphic QR-code and its text equivalent.
Next step is to find the “Send” screen in your exchange application and use one of two methods (QR-code or its text equivalent) to paste information from your personal wallet to exchange.
Now your transaction will be proceeded and confirmed by bitcoin network and this process will take some time. Finally, you should receive your coins and be sure to create a passphrase as a recovery option.
Don’t start with big amounts of money. It is better to test the transfer process with a symbolic transaction and only after this to make a bigger one.
