Commissions on Coinbase

Does anyone use Coinbase as a place to buy cryptocurrencies for fiat money? What are commissions there? Have it any sense to buy coins here or maybe in other places commissions are lower? Do you have any experience in the field? If so then answer please to me as soon as possible because I need to put some more dollars into Waves then I was expected before. Now this coin is going to grow I suppose so. There is better invest more in it.

Standard commission rate on Coinbase is 4% per transaction, but it can be cheaper if you use for example U.S. bank account or Coinbase USD wallet – 1,49%. If you want to save your money without compromising the quality of services you receive, try GDAX. GDAX is a product included in Coinbase system and it represents a digital exchange. Here you will see that many transactions can be done with 0.25% rates and some services don’t have commissions at all.
