Google authentication on Binance

I have read a lot of comments about Google authentication for log in on Binance platforms Some think that it is not safe to use such way of verifying. Other suppose that it is quite safe but it is much better to use simple way of verification through SMS. What is your point of view? Is is safe to use Authenticator Google, what are precautions should be done? I just don’t want my account will be hacked. I have there significant amount of coins. So what are your thoughts about it?
